Parallel Resistors app for iPhone and iPad

Parallel Resistors enables you to calculate the resistor you can add in parallel to an existing one to achieve your ideal target value. Results can be limited to 5%, 1%, 0.1%, or a selection you customize. Or, you can choose to enter only a total resistance target and Parallel Resistors will tell you the best combinations to reach the target.

To find a solution: (1) Choose which sets to use, (2) Enter R1 or R2, if already on your circuit board (or leave blank), then (3) Enter R, your target resistance.

Limit the solution set to just the resistors you stock by (1) Selecting those resistors in the Settings screen (start by adding any of the three standard sets, click any value to add or remove it), then (2) Selecting only the Custom checkbox on the Schematic screen.
